Five consulting packages cover the full range of SIP projects — from a first-time homeowner building under 1,500 square feet to a developer managing a commercial facility or military installation. Each package is scoped by project type, not by the hour. Pricing is discussed on the intro call.
Foundation Review
For residential projects under 1,500 sf
Smaller footprints still benefit from independent panel selection and a review of the plan set before construction begins. The Foundation Review covers:
- Panel type and manufacturer recommendation for the project
- R-value and thickness confirmation by climate zone
- Plan set review — SIP-specific notes and recommendations
- One follow-up call after contractor selection
Homeowner Package
For residential projects 1,500–3,500 sf
The most common residential engagement. Full panel specification, value engineering on the current plan, and support through contractor selection and panel ordering:
- Panel selection — type, core, thickness, manufacturer
- Value engineering — cost reduction review
- Architectural plan review and SIP-specific revisions
- Contractor vetting support
- Engineering stamps (if required)
- Support calls through panel delivery
Custom Home Package
For residential projects 3,500–5,000 sf
Larger custom homes introduce more complexity in panel specification — multiple assemblies, varied load requirements, and often mixed-system construction. This package adds site inspection and full project documentation:
- Everything in the Homeowner Package
- Full architectural plan development (SIP-specific)
- Spec writing for contractor and permit submission
- Site inspection at panel installation milestone
- Project closeout review
Estate Package
For residential projects 5,000–10,000 sf+
Projects at this scale typically involve custom panel solutions, complex structural engineering, and extended project timelines. The Estate Package provides full consulting coverage from early design through final inspection:
- Everything in the Custom Home Package
- Prototyping support for non-standard panel configurations
- Multiple site inspections
- Direct coordination with architect and structural engineer
- Manufacturer relationship management
Commercial & Industrial
For any commercial, industrial, military, or specialty project
Commercial SIP projects — processing facilities, medical buildings, military applications, government procurement — require a different level of specification. Panel selection is driven by structural load, climate control requirements, fire ratings, ballistic requirements, and procurement compliance. Darryl has done this work at U.S. military installations, for national chemical manufacturers, and at government research facilities. Scope is custom to the project.
- Full project specification and engineering
- Government procurement support
- Ballistic and specialty panel specifications
- Multi-site project management
- International project support
